Before attending drama school at the age of eighteen, she had already played the roles of Eliza Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY and Nancy in OLIVER.
She left the Guildford School of Acting, taking with her the Musical Theatre Cup for student of the year and went straight into the West End of London into the production of HOT STUFF at the Cambridge Theatre. She was cast in the play WHAT A PERFORMANCE at the Queens Theatre with David Suchet, who she subsequently taught to tap dance!
She then joined the company of LES MISERABLES to play the role of Fantine. During this time she was involved in the 10th anniversary concert of LES MISERABLES at the Royal Albert Hall. After a year she left to tour England, taking on the role of Eva Peron in EVITA. The role of Emma was next in Andrew Lloyd Webber's SONG AND DANCE (TELL ME ON A SUNDAY).
The Jerry Herman musical revue THE BEST OF TIMES followed, with Lindsay receiving critical acclaim and rave reviews for her perfomance in the show. During this time she also had the great privilege of being a regular with the BBC BIG BAND and was in constant demand for one-night concerts around the UK. In 1998, she was asked to perfom for HRH Prince of Wales at a private function and is still waiting to be invited back!
In the USA, Lindsay has had the pleasure of performing at the Algonquin Hotel, Don't Tell Mammas, the Waldorf Astoria and the Town Hall, all in New York. She was also the first artist asked to perform for the American Heart Association Gala in New York.
Lindsay now works for all the major cruise lines. Her highly rated and incredibly entertaining show has her in constant demand for the cruising industry. With her unbelievably powerful and moving voice, her fabulous sense of humour and her ability to choose exactly the right songs, she is everything an audience could wish for and this in turn has her asked back over and over again.
She still works in the UK when she can, performing her one-woman show, and hopes to go back to the West End when she has time!
